Afrihost has partnered with Rain to offer LTE-A data with its new Fixed Wireless packages.
Fixed Wireless from Afrihost aims to provide high-speed, reliable wireless internet in areas that do not have DSL or fibre coverage.
Rain’s wireless network already extends across South Africa’s major centres and metropolitan areas, with 750 base stations already installed. Rain plans to expand this to 2 000 sites by the end of the year.
Afrihost offers three month-to-month Fixed Wireless Packages:
* Fixed Wireless Basic 55Gb at R549.00 per month;
* Fixed Wireless Advanced 85Gb at R799.00 per month;
* Fixed Wireless Ultimate 120Gb at R999.00 per month.
Customers will be able to top of their accounts if they run out of data.
All Afrihost Fixed Wireless packages are subject to a once-off purchase of an Huawei B618 LTE-A Wireless Router for R2 499.00, able to connect up to 64 devices at a time.
