Ingram Micro announced the launch of its newly formed Internet of Things (IoT) Business Unit in the Middle East, Turkey and Africa (META). This is the latest in several solution-based business units launched in the past two years, such as Cloud Technology, Cyber Security and Physical Security, to complement its main distribution business.
Ingram Micro said it’s well positioned to provide end-to-end solutions by combining vendor products such as IoT sensors, trackers, edge analytics, video analytics and software with expertise from ISVs with industry-specific applications.
